Community Film Screening: Jane Eyre (1943)

Settle in for a dose of classic Hollywood with a free screening of Jane Eyre (1943) at the Brontë Parsonage Museum on Thursday 22 January at 2:30pm.

Starring Orson Welles and Joan Fontaine, this atmospheric adaptation may take liberties with the original story, but it delivers plenty of gothic charm and powerful performances.

Shot entirely in Hollywood, it’s a must for fans of vintage cinema and Brontë-inspired storytelling.

Screening takes place in the Brontë Event Space at the Old School Room in Haworth.
