Actually The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever 2026 in Haworth takes place on 26th July 2026.
The event runs from 11am to 2.30pm on Penistone Hill, Haworth, West Yorkshire, inviting Cathys of all ages to gather for a joyful, windswept celebration inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic song. 💃🌹
Held in the heart of Brontë Country, this unforgettable charity event transforms the moors above Haworth into a sea of flowing red dresses as participants learn the famous choreography and take part in a spectacular mass ‘Wuther’.
Open to everyone – all ages, all genders, all glorious red dresses welcome – it is a celebration of music, literature and landscape in the very setting that inspired Wuthering Heights.
On the day, you can expect:
• Guided dance tuition from brilliant dance leaders before the main performance
• A mass Cathy dance across Penistone Hill
• Live musical and poetic tributes to the song, its singer and the novel that inspired it
• A unique original poem composed by Kate Bush for Emily Brontë’s birthday
• The chance to bring a picnic and gather afterwards at Parson’s Field, next to the Brontë Parsonage Museum
Funds raised will support Women’s Aid and other charities, helping to protect this iconic landscape and inspire future generations of Cathys, Kates and Emilys.
🎟 Tickets go on sale at midday on Sunday 22nd March and are limited in number, so early booking is essential.
