Haworth 2026 Main Events Calendar

Haworth Beer Festival

Dates: 18-20 April. A weekend of cask ales, great food, and live music in the Haworth Old School Rooms, where Charlotte Brontë once taught.

Haworth Steampunk Weekend

Dates: 2–3 May 2026. A full weekend of entertainment on Haworth Main Street, with dancers, choirs, brass bands, steam trains, market stalls and shops, and plenty of Steampunk outfits, raising funds for Sue Ryder’s Manorlands Hospice. More Details

The Brontë Gathering

Dates: 9–10 May 2026. A family day out with lots to see and do such as stunt shows, donkey rides, fairground rides, car shows and much more, while helping raise money for a great cause. More details.

KWVR Haworth 1940s Weekend

Dates: 15–17 May 2026. Across three days, the railway recreates the look and feel of 1940s Britain with steam trains, period music, re-enactments and living history displays along the full heritage line between Keighley and Oxenhope. More Details

Haworth Festival

Dates: 10–26 July 2026. A mix of intimate gatherings and larger events across the village, the full line-up is still to be announced.

Expect live music, literature, comedy, theatre, dance, family activities, pub quizzes, and opportunities for the community to get involved (plus a lot of yellow ducks!). More Details

Actually The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever

Date: 26 July 2026. A joyful mass red dress Cathy dance on Penistone Hill, bringing together participants of all ages for a windswept celebration inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic song.

Expect guided choreography, live music and poetry, a spectacular group performance on the moors, and a charity focused day in the heart of Brontë Country. More details.

Sue Ryder Brontë Half Marathon & Brontë Off Road Bike Challenge

Dates: 20 September 2026. A full day of trail running and off road cycling in Brontë Country, with both events taking place on the same day between Haworth and Hebden Bridge.

The Brontë Half Marathon is a hilly 13.1 mile trail run from Penistone Hill Country Park, fully marshalled with water on the course and a race memento for all runners, supporting Sue Ryder. More details.

The Brontë Off Road Bike Challenge offers four moorland routes from 13.9 to 35.6 miles for mountain, gravel and e-bikes, with all entry fees supporting Sue Ryder’s care. More details.

Haworth Steampunk Weekend

Dates: 10–11 October 2026. Haworth Steampunk Weekend returns for its second weekender of the year in October.

Keighley and Worth Valley Beer & Music Festival

Dates: 15–18 October 2026. A four-day celebration of real ale, local music, and heritage rail across festival sites at Keighley, Ingrow, and Oxenhope, with unlimited train travel included with your Event Rover ticket.

Christmas in Haworth 2026

Dates: November–December 2026 (details TBC).

Christmas and other seasonal events are expected across Haworth, including artisan markets, late night shopping, carols by candlelight, festive experiences on the Worth Valley Railway, and Haworth’s famous Torchlight Procession.
